The Unspoken Playbook

The February air in Munich was biting, a stark contrast to the warmth radiating from the floor-to-ceiling windows of Jamal’s apartment. Outside, the city was draped in a light dusting of snow, the streetlights reflecting off the ice like fallen stars. Inside, the atmosphere was thick with the scent of expensive vanilla candles and the lingering aroma of a home-cooked dinner.

Mi sat on the plush velvet sofa, her legs tucked under her. She looked particularly small tonight, her petite frame almost swallowed by the oversized knit sweater she wore. Her dark, curly hair was a wild halo around her face, a few stray coils bouncing as she tilted her head to look at Jamal.

Jamal was pacing, though he tried to make it look like he was just looking for the remote. He was usually so composed, the "Bambi" of the pitch who moved with a grace that made professional defenders look like they were standing in quicksand. But here, in the quiet of their shared evening, he seemed uncharacteristically restless.

"Jamal, sit down before you wear a hole in the rug," Mi teased, a playful glint in her eyes.

He let out a short, nervous laugh and finally sank into the cushions beside her. "Sorry. Just... thinking about the game tomorrow."

"Liar," she whispered, leaning in so her shoulder brushed his. "It’s Valentine’s Day. No football talk. I told you earlier, I have a gift for you that isn't wrapped in a box."

Jamal turned to her, his dark eyes searching hers. "You’ve already done so much, Mi. The dinner was amazing."

Mi reached out, her small hand resting on his knee. Even through his joggers, she could feel the hard muscle of his thigh. "I’m serious, Jam. Tonight is about you. I know you’re always so careful with me, so attentive to what I want. But tonight, the slate is clean. You can do anything with me—sexually, I mean—that we haven’t done yet. Any fantasy you’ve been holding back. No judgments, no hesitation. I want to give you that."

Jamal stiffened slightly, his breath hitching. He looked away, a faint flush creeping up his neck. "Mi, you don't have to do that. I’m happy with how we are."

"I know you are," she said softly, shifting so she was kneeling on the sofa, making herself even smaller as she looked up at him. "But I want to see this side of you. I know there’s something. I can see it in the way you look at me sometimes when you think I’m not paying attention. Just tell me."

He was silent for a long moment, the only sound the faint hum of the refrigerator in the distance. He bit his lip, a habit he had when he was overthinking a play on the field.

"It's... it's a bit much," he muttered, his voice dropping an octave. "I don't want you to think I'm weird. Or that I don't respect you."

Mi laughed gently, reaching up to cup his face. Her small fingers traced the line of his jaw. "Jamal Musiala, you are the most respectful man I’ve ever met. Sometimes too respectful. You won’t break me. Now, tell me."

He took a deep breath, finally meeting her gaze. The shyness was still there, but beneath it was a flicker of something darker, something more primal.

"I want to see you... handled," he said, the words coming out in a rush. "I want to take away your control. Not in a bad way, but... I want to see you overwhelmed by me. I want to use my size against yours. I want to see those curls messy against the headboard while I hold your hands above your head and remind you exactly how much bigger I am than you."

Mi felt a sudden jolt of electricity shoot down her spine. She had expected him to suggest a new position or perhaps a toy, but this—the desire for dominance, the acknowledgment of the sheer physical difference between his tall, athletic frame and her petite, delicate one—was intoxicating.

"You want to be rough?" she asked, her voice trembling slightly, though not from fear.

"Not rough enough to hurt you," he clarified quickly, his protective instincts flaring up. "Never that. But I want to be firm. I want to hear you beg a little. I want to mark you so that when you look in the mirror tomorrow, you remember exactly who you belong to."

Mi swallowed hard. The image of Jamal, usually so gentle and soft-spoken, taking charge with that kind of intensity made her core ache. She reached for the hem of her sweater, pulling it over her head in one fluid motion. She sat there in just her lace bra, her small breasts rising and falling with her quickened breaths.

"Okay," she whispered. "Do it."

Jamal didn't move for a second, his eyes raking over her. The shyness vanished, replaced by a focused, predatory intensity that she usually only saw when he was closing in on the goal. He stood up, towering over her, and reached down to grab her waist. His hands nearly met around her middle, his fingers splayed wide against her skin.

"Bedroom," he commanded. It wasn't a suggestion.

Mi felt a thrill of heat as he hoisted her up. She wrapped her legs around his waist, feeling the solid strength of him. He carried her down the hallway with an ease that reminded her of his power. When they reached the bed, he didn't lay her down gently. He tossed her onto the center of the mattress, the impact making her bounce slightly.

Before she could sit up, he was over her, pinning her wrists to the pillows. His weight was a heavy, welcome pressure.

"You’re so small, Mi," he murmured, his face inches from hers. His voice was a low growl now. "I’ve spent so much time being careful with you. Do you have any idea how hard that is?"

"Show me," she challenged, her eyes defiant even as her heart hammered against her ribs.

Jamal grinned, a slow, wicked expression that transformed his face. He released one of her wrists only to grip both of them in a single hand, his long fingers encircling them with ease. With his free hand, he reached down, his palm flat against her stomach, moving upward until he cupped one of her small breasts.

"I want to hear you," he whispered, leaning down to bite softly at the sensitive skin of her neck. "I want you to tell me how much you want this."

He moved with a new kind of purpose, his movements stripped of their usual hesitation. Every touch was deliberate, every kiss a claim. He stripped her out of the rest of her clothes with a frantic sort of hunger, his eyes never leaving hers. When he finally shed his own clothes, the sight of his lean, muscular body in the dim light took her breath away.

He climbed back over her, spreading her knees wide with his own. He looked down at her, his dark curls falling over his forehead.

"Say it," he urged, his thumb brushing over her lower lip.

"Please, Jamal," she gasped, her fingers digging into the muscles of his arms. "I want you. All of you. Don't hold back."

He didn't. He took her with a ferocity that left her breathless, his movements powerful and rhythmic. He held her hands pinned, forcing her to focus entirely on the sensation of him filling her, of the way his body dwarfed hers. He was vocal, too, whispering things in a mix of English and German that made her blush and moan his name until her throat was raw.

At one point, he flipped her over, pressing her face into the pillows. He gripped her hips, his fingers digging into the soft flesh, guiding her to meet his thrusts.

"Look at me," he grunted, and when she turned her head to look back at him, she saw a man completely possessed by his desire for her. There was no shyness left, only the raw, unfiltered need of a man who had finally let go of his restraints.

When the end came, it was explosive. Jamal collapsed against her back, his breath coming in ragged gasps, his heart thudding against her spine. He stayed there for a long time, his arms wrapped tightly around her, as if he were afraid she might float away if he let go.

Slowly, he shifted, rolling them both over so she was tucked against his side, her head resting on his chest. He pulled the duvet up over them, his hand stroking her messy curls.

"Are you okay?" he asked, his voice returning to its usual soft, melodic tone. "Did I... was it too much?"

Mi shifted, wincing slightly at the pleasant ache in her muscles, and looked up at him. Her eyes were bright, a wide smile spreading across her face.

"It was perfect, Jamal. Exactly what I wanted."

He kissed her forehead, a lingering, tender gesture. "Happy Valentine's Day, Mi."

"Happy Valentine's Day," she whispered, closing her eyes and listening to the steady rhythm of his heart.

As she drifted toward sleep, she realized that while the world knew Jamal Musiala as the polite, disciplined star of Bayern Munich, she now knew a secret side of him—a side that was fierce, commanding, and utterly hers. And as she felt his arms tighten around her in her sleep, she knew this was a play they would be running again very, very soon.
