Agenda Item Number One

The student council of Faculty of Arts had a reputation for razor-sharp efficiency, a polished facade held together almost entirely by two people: JJ Radchapon, whose easy charm and sunny disposition could disarm the strictest dean, and Net Siraphop, whose quiet theatrical poise and meticulous planning ensured nothing ever fell out of place.

To anyone on campus, they were a perfectly calibrated machine. When JJ lost track of a slide during the budget proposal, Net smoothly stepped forward with the exact figures already on his lips. When Net spent six straight hours revising festival permits, JJ silently set an iced Americano beside his laptop with a sticky note bearing a ridiculous doodle of a cat in a suit.

Neither of them admitted—not even in the quietest hours of the night—that these little courtesies were born of an ache so deep it felt dangerous to name.

That delicate line shattered on a Friday night in Net’s apartment.

The council had gathered to celebrate surviving the annual university open house. Cheap beer cans and takeout boxes of spicy fried chicken had covered the coffee table, the living room echoing with the loud laughter of Keng, Namping, Ohm, Kim, and Latte. But by midnight, the group had thinned out. Latte had dragged a drowsy Ohm to an Uber, while Keng, Namping, and Kim had staggered out with promises to pick up their forgotten jackets tomorrow.

Which left Net and JJ sitting shoulder-to-shoulder on the thick rug, an opened bottle of plum wine between them, well past the point of sobriety.

"You worked too hard this week," JJ mumbled, his voice thick and slurred as he leaned his head against the edge of Net’s sofa. His dark eyes caught the dim amber light of the floor lamp, glossy and unusually soft. "Always taking the heavy lifting so I don't get stressed. You think I don't notice, Net?"

Net swallowed hard, his throat dry despite the wine. "Someone has to look after the president."

"I don't need a vice president to look after me," JJ whispered, turning his head so their faces were mere inches apart. The scent of sweet alcohol and warm skin filled the narrow space between them. "I just... I just want you."

The admission hung in the air, heavy and intoxicating. Net reached out, his long fingers trembling slightly as he brushed a stray lock of hair away from JJ’s forehead. When JJ didn't pull back, but instead leaned into the touch with a soft, shuddering sigh, the dam broke.

Net closed the distance, pressing his mouth against JJ’s. It began with an urgent, clumsy collision of lips, but the moment JJ parted his mouth with a quiet whimper, heat surged through them like wildfire. Months of suppressed glances, stolen touches, and polite restraint evaporated in an instant.

Net pulled JJ up onto his lap, hands gripping JJ’s slim waist as their tongues tangled, deep and unhurried. JJ’s fingers knotted into Net’s hair, pulling him closer, chasing the taste of him with an abandon that made Net’s head spin.

"The bed," JJ breathed against Net’s bruised lips, chest heaving. "Net... please, the bed."

They barely made it into the bedroom without stumbling into the doorframe. Clothes were discarded in frantic, impatient rustles until both were bare beneath the cool air-conditioned breeze, skin flushing pink against the tangled sheets.

Net hovered over JJ, taking in the sight of him—the sleek line of his collarbones, his chest rising and falling, his thighs parted in an unconscious invitation that made Net’s pulse roar in his ears.

"You're gorgeous, JJ," Net rasped, leaning down to pepper hot, open-mouthed kisses along JJ’s jawline, down the sensitive curve of his neck, making JJ arch his back with a breathy gasp.

Net reached for the bottle of lotion on his nightstand, pouring a generous amount into his palm. He worked his fingers slowly between JJ’s thighs, massaging the tense muscle before pressing a slick finger inside. JJ gasped, his hands clutching Net’s broad shoulders, nails digging into the skin as Net patiently stroked the sweet spot within him.

"Look at me," Net whispered reverently, adding a second finger, stretching him with deliberate, agonizing tenderness.

JJ opened heavy, dazed eyes, his breath hitching. "Net... Net, it's too much... please, just fuck me."

Unable to hold back any longer, Net lined himself up against JJ’s dripping entrance. He paused, resting his forehead against JJ’s, watching his expression as he slowly pushed his thick cock inside. JJ let out a broken, high-pitched moan, his head tossing back against the pillow as his inner walls clenched tight around Net’s shaft, gripping him like velvet heat.

Net groaned, fighting for control as he buried himself to the hilt. He stayed still for a breathless moment, letting JJ adjust, before drawing back and sliding in again with a steady, rhythmic cadence.

The friction was overwhelming. With every thrust, JJ cried out, his voice turning into sweet, shameless whimpers that filled the room. Net caught one of JJ’s legs, hooking it over his shoulder to drive deeper, his hips snapping forward with increasing fervor. The wet slaps of their skin meeting echoed loudly alongside the creak of the headboard.

"Ah... Net! Right there, yes—fuck, Net!" JJ choked out, his toes curling as Net rubbed against his prostate with relentless precision.

Net leaned down, capturing JJ’s mouth in another searing kiss, swallowing his moans as he pumped into him harder, faster, his own release coiling tight in his lower belly. JJ’s cock, slick with pre-come between their bellies, pulsed violently before he spilled over their skin with a sharp, ecstatic cry. The tight spasms of JJ’s climax milked Net completely; with a guttural grunt, Net shoved in one last time, emptying himself deep inside JJ as their bodies locked together in breathless, trembling exhaustion.

Net collapsed beside him, pulling the duvet over their damp bodies. JJ curled into Net’s chest, his breath slowing against Net’s collarbone until sleep claimed them both.

At seven in the morning, reality struck JJ like an icy bucket of water.

He blinked against the sunlight streaming through Net’s sheer curtains. His body felt heavy, wonderfully used, and thoroughly sore. Beside him, Net was dead to the world, one arm thrown loosely across the mattress where JJ had been lying.

JJ stared at the arm, then at his own discarded shirt on the floor, and his heart plummeted into his stomach.

Oh God.

They had crossed a line. A massive, irreversible, professional-annihilating line. Net was his vice president. Net was his closest ally. What if this was just a drunken mistake? What if Net woke up, looked at him with regret, and the student council—their pride and joy—crumbled under the weight of awkwardness?

Panic seized him. Moving like a thief in the night, JJ slipped out from beneath the sheets, gathered his clothes in frantic silence, shoved his feet into his sneakers, and practically sprinted out of Net’s apartment without leaving so much as a note.

By ten in the morning, Net was standing in the university courtyard, dark circles under his eyes, looking less like a poised theatre major and more like a man on a mission to hunt down a fugitive.

He spotted his target immediately.

JJ was speed-walking down the wide outdoor corridor, an oversized hoodie drawn up, clutching an iced coffee like a shield.

"JJ!" Net called out, quickening his pace.

JJ visibly flinched. He glanced over his shoulder, saw Net closing in, and immediately made a sharp right turn toward the student lounge.

"President Radchapon, stop right there!" Net commanded, his stage-projection voice cutting through the chatter of passing students.

In the open student lounge, Keng and Namping were seated at a circular table, sharing a box of cream puffs. Both froze mid-bite as JJ darted past their table, practically vaulting over an empty beanbag chair.

"Morning, guys, got to go, urgent administrative duties!" JJ gasped, not breaking stride.

Two seconds later, Net stormed past the same table. "Did he go toward the library?"

Namping pointed a pastry toward the glass doors, utterly bewildered. "Uh... yeah? Net, why are you chasing him? Did he lose the club funding spreadsheet again?"

"Something like that," Net tossed back, bolting after JJ.

Keng chewed slowly, watching Net’s retreating back with an amused squint. "Ten bucks says they didn't just lose a spreadsheet. Look at the way Net’s looking at him. That's not bureaucratic rage, that’s lover's desperation."

"No bet," Namping smirked, leaning back. "I've been waiting for this implosion for six months."

Meanwhile, JJ was taking the concrete steps of the central library two at a time, his lungs burning. He rounded the corner of the landing, only to almost collide with Ohm and Kim, who were leaning against the railing with armfuls of newly printed festival posters.

"Whoa, Mr. President!" Ohm caught JJ by the sleeve. "Where's the fire? Latte's waiting in the council room with the sign-up sheets."

"Can't talk! Keep Net away from me!" JJ wheezed, wrenching himself free and diving down the opposite staircase.

Kim blinked, watching JJ disappear down the hallway. "Keep Net away? Why would he—"

"JJ!"

Net appeared at the top of the stairs, breathing hard, his hair slightly disheveled. He stopped in front of Ohm and Kim, resting a hand against the wall. "Which way?"

Ohm grinned slowly, exchanging a knowing glance with Kim. "He went toward the council room, Net. But hey, take it easy on him. He looks like a startled rabbit."

"He is a rabbit," Net muttered under his breath, taking off down the hall without another word.

Kim chuckled, shaking his head. "They are so exhausting. How have they not figured out they're obsessed with each other yet?"

"Give them five minutes," Ohm replied cheerfully. "Net's got longer legs."

JJ reached the student council office, fumbling desperately with his lanyard keycard. He managed to swipe it, threw the door open, and darted straight through the main office into the back archive room—a narrow space packed with filing cabinets, old banners, and theatrical props from past campus plays.

Latte, who had been sitting at the main desk reviewing club budgets, blinked as JJ slammed the archive door shut.

Before Latte could even ask what was happening, the main office door swung open again, and Net strode in.

"Archive room?" Net asked Latte calmly, though his chest heaved.

Latte slowly raised his iced tea and pointed his straw directly at the archive door. "Don't break any of the historical records. Some of those folders are from 1998."

"Understood," Net said.

Net walked to the archive door, gripped the handle, and found it unlocked. JJ hadn't had time to find the little latch. Net pushed it open, stepped inside, and clicked the lock firmly into place behind him.

The archive room was dimly lit, smelling of paper and cedar. JJ was backed against a row of metal shelves, his hands pressed flat behind him, his chest rising and falling rapidly.

"Net," JJ started, his voice cracking slightly. "Look, about last night—it was a mistake. We were completely wasted, and the wine was way too strong, and we have a professional reputation to uphold! We can just pretend it never happened, okay? A total lapse in judgment. I won't hold it against you, I swear—"

"Shut up, JJ," Net said softly.

JJ’s mouth snapped shut, his eyes widening.

Net crossed the small space between them until there was nowhere left for JJ to retreat. He caged JJ against the shelf, placing one hand flat beside JJ’s head. Up close, Net’s gaze wasn't angry—it was intensely focused, raw, and unmistakably hurt.

"A mistake?" Net asked, his voice dropping into that low, resonant register he used on stage. "Is that what you think that was?"

"I... what else could it be?" JJ whispered, his bravado finally crumbling. He looked down, unable to meet Net’s eyes. "We’re the president and the vice president. We work together every single day. If you woke up and hated me for letting it happen... I couldn't handle that, Net. I’d rather run away than have you look at me like I ruined everything."

Net let out a ragged breath, half a laugh and half a groan. He reached out, his thumb gently catching JJ’s chin, tilting his face upward until their eyes met.

"You idiot," Net said tenderly. "How could you possibly think you ruined anything?"

JJ blinked. "Because—"

"JJ, I’ve been in love with you since the day we were elected," Net confessed, the words pouring out without hesitation, without the polished filter he usually wore. "Why do you think I review all your slides? Why do you think I stay behind to clean the office every time you're tired? Do you think I give my apartment key to just anyone? Do you think I let just anyone crawl into my bed and take everything I have to give?"

JJ’s breath hitched, his heart hammering against his ribs. "You... you love me?"

"I am utterly, helplessly in love with you," Net said, leaning in until their lips almost brushed. "And last night was the best night of my life. Waking up to an empty bed felt like someone ripped my heart out. So don't you dare call it a lapse in judgment."

JJ stared at him, the weight of the past year—the lingering looks, the unspoken protectiveness, the endless quiet devotion—suddenly replaying in his mind with crystalline clarity.

"I was running because I wanted it too much," JJ admitted, his voice small, a flush creeping up his neck. "I thought I was the only one staring at you during meetings. I thought... I thought you were just being a good vice president."

"I am a terrible vice president," Net whispered, a slow, breathtaking smile spreading across his lips. "Because all I want to do right now is kiss the president until he forgets where we are."

JJ let out a wet, breathless laugh and grabbed Net’s collar, pulling him down.

The kiss was different from the drunken frenzy of the night before; it was slow, deep, and grounded in utter certainty. Net wrapped his arms around JJ’s waist, lifting him slightly, while JJ tangled his hands into Net’s hair, kissing him back with all the adoration he had kept locked away for months. When they finally parted, both of them were smiling, their foreheads resting together.

"So," JJ murmured, tracing the line of Net’s jaw. "Does this mean we're official? Or do we need to draft an amendment to the council constitution?"

"You're my boyfriend," Net stated firmly. "No debate, no motions. It’s effective immediately."

"Good," JJ beamed, kissing his cheek. "Because I'm not running anymore."

Ten minutes later, the archive door clicked open.

Net and JJ stepped out into the main student council room, their hands openly laced together, their expressions bright and serene.

Sitting around the main conference table were Keng, Namping, Ohm, Kim, and Latte. All five of them were holding iced drinks, looking utterly unbothered, as if they had merely paused a movie while waiting for the main characters to finish their scene.

"Finally," Latte sighed, setting down his pen. "Can we approve the sports day budget now, or are you two going to gaze into each other’s eyes for another twenty minutes?"

JJ flushed a brilliant crimson, trying to pull his hand back, but Net held on firmly, squeezing his fingers with a proud, unapologetic smirk.

"Pay up, Namping," Keng said smugly, holding out an open palm across the table. "I told you they'd sort it out before noon."

Namping groaned, slapping a hundred-baht bill into Keng's hand. "I gave them too much credit for drama. Honestly, guys, you chased each other across three campus buildings just to hold hands?"

"Hey, respect the process," Ohm grinned, winking at JJ. "Congratulations, Mr. President. You finally caught your vice president."

"Actually," JJ replied, lifting his chin with that familiar, playful sparkle returning to his eyes as he looked up at Net, "I think he caught me."

Net smiled down at him, warm and utterly devoted. "And I'm never letting go."
