[Clip 1: Y-Universe Awards 2023 Red Carpet]
Net Siraphop, looking devastating in a tailored velvet double-breasted suit, turns toward JJ Radchapon, who is wearing an immaculate charcoal blazer. Net reaches out with practiced, languid elegance to straighten JJ’s lapel.
JJ doesn’t even look up from his phone. Without missing a beat, JJ uses the corner of a laminated event schedule to swat Net’s hand away with a crisp, audible thwack.
Net’s mouth twitches. He leans down, whispers something into JJ’s ear, and JJ immediately looks ready to commit a felony on national television.
Net: (smirking directly into the nearest press lens) "He’s just shy when the cameras are on."
JJ: "I will bite your carotid artery."Top comments:
@user9921: EPISODE ULIT NG TOM AND JERRY HAHAHAHAHA
@bldigest: I love how Net’s entire life mission is just seeing how far he can push JJ before security has to intervene.
@phornpinit_daily: Ang kulit nilang dalawa 😭 JJ looks five seconds away from setting the carpet on fire.
@velvetnet: Friends lang kayo? Sure. Best friends who want to strangle each other maybe lmao.
[Clip 2: Random IG Live, late night from a kitchen island]
JJ is sitting on a barstool, explaining the dramatic pacing of his latest published novel to 30,000 viewers. In the background, someone wearing a loose grey tank top walks past, opens the fridge, and emerges holding a tub of pistachio ice cream.
Net sits down directly beside JJ, scoops out a massive spoonful, and shoves it into his own mouth.
JJ: (freezing mid-sentence, staring at the spoon) "That was mine."
Net: (swallowing, unbothered) "It had no name on it."
JJ: "It’s in my kitchen."
Net: "Technically, you bought it with my credit card."
JJ: "Because you lost your wallet in my car! Get your own spoon, you menace."
Net doesn’t get his own spoon. Instead, he feeds JJ a spoonful just to shut him up. JJ takes it angrily, chews with pure spite, and continues discussing character arcs.Top comments:
@sirasnack: The way JJ took the bite while glaring daggers lmaooo.
@writersblock: Net hanging out at JJ’s apartment like he pays the mortgage. Industry besties are so unhinged.
@cupofthai: "Rivals" who share groceries. Sure, Jan.
In reality, Net did pay half the mortgage. He had also paid for the custom walnut kitchen island, the espresso machine JJ broke twice before learning how to calibrate, and the goose-down pillows currently supporting JJ’s lower back.
The problem—if anyone cared to call it a problem—was that neither of them had ever officially sat down with a PR team to draft a press release stating: For the record, we have been hopelessly, entirely in love and living together for half a decade.
They simply hadn't bothered. Five years ago, when Net’s acting career had shifted from promising rookie to undeniable powerhouse, and JJ’s debut novel had been picked up for a critically acclaimed television adaptation, they had just… drifted into an apartment together. They shared meals, traded keys, divided cabinet space, and wore each other's oversized crewnecks out to morning coffee runs.
Net had always assumed that if someone saw him rubbing JJ’s shoulders in the back row of an editing suite at two in the morning, they would put two and two together.
Instead, the staff writer who walked in had just laughed and said, “Rough day, huh, P’JJ? Even Net feels bad for roasting your script draft.”
Net had never corrected them. The misunderstanding had been far too funny.
"Hey," Net murmured now, his voice rough with post-filming exhaustion as he wandered into the living room of their condo.
He was wearing an oversized soft-cotton shirt and fleece shorts, his hair damp from the shower. Without asking, he maneuvered himself onto the sofa, sliding between JJ’s parted knees and resting his chin squarely on JJ’s chest.
JJ didn’t look up from his laptop, but his fingers paused on the keyboard. One hand automatically reached down, slender fingers weaving through Net’s damp hair to massage the base of his neck.
"Did you finish the reshoots?" JJ asked quietly, his voice dropping into that low, warm register he only ever used when the front door was locked.
"Yeah. Director wanted four takes of the running scene because the light kept catching the dust motes," Net muttered, his eyes fluttering shut under the rhythmic pressure of JJ’s thumbs. He sighed, sinking his weight into JJ’s warmth. "My shins ache."
"Poor baby," JJ said, entirely sincere, his fingers smoothing over the knot in Net’s shoulder. "I left the bath salts on the counter. The eucalyptus ones."
"Did you eat?"
"A sandwich."
Net opened one eye, giving him a flat look. "A sandwich isn't dinner, Radchapon."
"It had three types of deli meat and arugula, Siraphop. It had substance."
"You’re useless without me," Net whispered affectionately, tilting his head up just enough to press a soft, lingering kiss against the hollow of JJ’s throat.
JJ didn't pull away. He leaned into the touch, his chin dipping to rest lightly against Net's temple. "I managed to survive twenty-two years before you forced your way into my contact list."
"You survived on instant noodles and spite. I civilized you."
"You leave your socks inside out on the rug by the television," JJ countered, clicking the trackpad with his free hand. "That's not civilization. That's a biological hazard."
Net chuckled, a low vibration against JJ’s ribs, before pulling his phone out of his shorts pocket. A notification pinged on the screen, illuminating both of their faces with the harsh glow of social media.
"Look at this," Net said, turning the screen. "DMD officially posted the teaser."
JJ squinted at the graphic. "The reality house thing?"
"Yeah. DMD Safe Space: The Sanctuary." Net’s thumb scrolled through the glossy poster. His own face was there, looking sleek and professional in the top tier of headliners, alongside several prominent agency actors. Right in the middle, looking intensely composed and mildly dangerous, was JJ’s author portrait.
"I still can't believe Aoft persuaded me to sign that contract," JJ groaned, resting his forehead against the back of Net's neck. "Two weeks in a villa with twelve other people, cameras in every corner, and no private workspace. I am going to lose my mind. I have a revision deadline in October."
"You signed it because they offered you complete creative control over the series adaptation of your third book," Net pointed out reasonably. "And because I promised I’d cook every morning."
"You promised you wouldn't wake me up before nine."
"I promised nothing of the sort," Net smirked, shifting around so he could face JJ properly. The lazy, teasing gleam had returned to his eyes—the exact look that usually drove fans wild in fifteen-second TikTok edits. "The rules state that the livestreams run from the moment the house alarm sounds until lights-out. If the alarm goes off at seven, you’re on camera at seven, grump."
JJ narrowed his eyes, poking Net firmly in the center of his chest. "If you push a camera into my face before I’ve had black coffee, Net, I will leak your entire embarrassing childhood photo album to your fan club."
"You wouldn't."
"Try me. I have the drive backed up in the cloud."
Net grinned, leaning in to steal a quick kiss on JJ’s lips—firm, sweet, and entirely devoid of the sharp sarcasm they traded for the public. "I love when you threaten me. It’s very attractive."
"You're disgusting," JJ sighed, though the tips of his ears turned pink, and his hand didn't leave Net’s hair.
Twelve hours later, the internet caught fire.
The official Domundi accounts launched the promotional campaign for the new house reality series at precisely noon. Within minutes, the announcement soared to the number one trending topic worldwide.

The reactions rolled in like an avalanche.
@netjj_updates: NET AND JJ IN THE SAME HOUSE FOR TWO WEEKS STRAIGHT??? THE WALLS WILL NOT SURVIVE.
@bldomestic: JJ is a respected novelist and Net is an award-winning actor why are they putting them in a Big Brother simulator 😭😭😭
@marathon_stan: Someone please prepare legal defense for Net Siraphop because JJ is going to smother him with a throw pillow on day three.
@thaienthusiast: The way they bicker during a 10-minute interview… imagine them fighting over who forgot to wash the rice pot. I’M SEATED.
Then, twenty minutes after the initial drop, the production team released the hook that blew the engagement metrics completely through the roof.

Underneath the post, the reply section mutated into pure chaos.
@charlie_pop: ANYONE??? YOU MEAN WE CAN SUBMIT ANYONE???
@filo_fan: WAIT WAIT WAIT. IF NET AND JJ ARE BOTH IN THE HOUSE ALREADY… WHO ARE WE VOTING FOR???
@dmd_conspiracy: Guys, don’t vote for another actor. Vote for JJ’s literary editor so someone can physically protect the manuscript while Net harasses him.
@netspout: Can we vote for someone who will actively team up with Net to bully JJ? Or someone who will team up with JJ to humble Net? This is crucial.
Back in the production office, Net was sitting in a swivel chair, spinning slowly while staring at his phone. He clicked into the quotes and casually typed a reply from his verified account.
@netsiraphop: If whoever you guys vote for touches my coffee beans or encourages @JJ_Radchapon to stay up past 2 AM writing, we are having problems on day one.
The internet shrieked. Two minutes later, JJ replied.
@JJ_Radchapon: You don’t own the coffee beans, you bought them with my card. And I hope the audience votes for an MMA fighter so they can finally teach you personal space.
@netsiraphop: You love my personal space. You’d cry without it.
@JJ_Radchapon: I would throw a parade.
Comments under the exchange:
@dailybl: THEY’RE ALREADY FIGHTING IN THE TWITTER REPLIES I CANNOT DO THIS FOR FOURTEEN DAYS LMAO
@user4401: "You love my personal space" SIR??? THE AUDACITY???
@jjdefensequad: JJ hit him with a frying pan on live television, I beg of you.
In the living room of their condo later that evening, JJ tossed his phone onto the mattress and looked at Net, who was packing a duffel bag with graphic tees and skincare bottles.
"You realize," JJ said slowly, crossing his arms over his chest, "that the house has cameras in the bedrooms."
Net paused, a tub of moisturizer in his hand. He looked up, his expression innocent. "Yes. Two overhead, one near the vanity."
"And you realize," JJ continued, his voice tightening, "that for five years, you have slept with your arm thrown over my waist like an oversized weighted blanket."
Net’s lips curled into that dangerous, brilliantly charismatic smirk that cameras adored, but his eyes were entirely soft.
"I guess you'll just have to push me off, then," Net said smoothly. "Let the public see your legendary combat skills."
"Net."
"JJ." Net set the moisturizer down, crossed the bedroom floor in three long strides, and stopped right in front of him. He reached out, his long fingers cupping the nape of JJ’s neck, thumb resting gently against his jawline. The touch was quiet, practiced, and unshakeable. "We've lived together for five years. Do you honestly think we can pretend we don't know where each other's bruises are? How we drink our tea? Who gets the left side of the bed?"
JJ looked up into the dark, steady eyes of the man the world thought he merely tolerated. His chest tightened with an ache that was dangerously close to fond surrender.
"They think we hate each other," JJ whispered, a faint, reluctant smile finally breaking through his defenses.
Net leaned down, resting his forehead against JJ’s, his breath warm and familiar against his lips.
"Let them think whatever they want," Net murmured softly, pulling JJ half an inch closer until their heartbeats fell into the same steady rhythm. "Until the cameras turn on, and they realize they voted to watch a married couple bicker over laundry."
